This team is just playing amazing hockey and has been ever since Boudreau took over. If they get in, the Stanley Cup is not out of the question. There is no team in the league as hot as the Caps.

So we're tied w/ Carolina now, right? Our season series w/ them was 5-5, but one of Carolina's wins was in OT. Does that mean we actually have the 3rd seed right now?

Don't know but it really doesn't matter. If Carolina wins tomorrow they win the division. If they lose (even in OT) and we win on Saturday we win the division.

-Philly loses one of their last two games OR
-Carolina loses their last game OR
-Ottawa/Boston game ends in regulation

And:
-Caps beat Florida on Saturday

Any of those scenarios and the Caps are in.
