Wiz with the gut-wrenching loss last night, Nationals' with embarrassing collapse today.  Man if the Caps blow this one I will cry myself to sleep tonight.  :-[

That was fast. Down 1-0.

They don't go to replay for that?

They usually do.  How can a referee call something that never happened?  He blatantly made up a call to screw the Caps and then they just bypassed the replay system for whatever reason.

Joe B. and Craig have been watching hockey forever and even they were stunned at the call.

We do look 10x better than them, even being down at this point.

I'm never comfortable when Brashear is in there. He either gets a penalty or messes up the offense. I did like him in the beginning of the season, though.

ugh. Dominating in shots but that's meaningless unless you score.

I think we'll score plenty against this goalie. He's all over the place. I see Kozlov doing something here soon.

Backstrom seriously is a badass. That dude is the best at getting the puck back for the Caps when it seems impossible.

Yep, he is just amazing.  And he is only a 20 year old rookie!

Can't you see it already that we're going to be a top team in the league w/ 2 or 3 of the leagues top 10 superstars? It's almost too obvious to me.

College Hockey? Come on.

I think they are decent though.  The player (Ruth) the Caps traded for Fedorov plays for ND.

Yep. We should be a shoe-in for 1st in the East next season and the future beyond that looks VERY bright, especially if one of our goalie prospects ever pan out.
