I don't like annual Forum awards, but some of the threads that got referenced were really good.  I never would have seen them.

MVP: Should include Kenz aFan for the WNFF Toolbar alone.  Although I never downloaded it, I bookmarked some of the links as Favorites.

Thread of the Year: What Do You Do for a Living (read over 2070 times)
http://www.wnff.net/index.php/topic,159.0.html

Nicest Poster: Should include ronnynat

Most Classic Quote: Senators2005: "wonder how many of those fans paid outrageous money for these seats prior to knowing that 756 was hit in yesterdays game.   <laughing>"

Most Informative: Senators2005 (before he went Missing in Action).  He was the source for a lot of news around the league.  (Will somebody TELL Sens' that he's winning the Forum Head-2-Head Playoff week, and that he could be in the final next week - even though he became a QUITTER, and stopped managing his team!!!!)

(I think 2k6000nats should file an age discrimination suit for the age-related categories.) Just take the age numbers out.  Otherwise put iluvryanzimmerman in the Youngin' Award.  We recently learned that she's only 14.  Her posts are like reading a 14-year-old's personal diary... that is being written in a padded room.

Angriest Poster ought to include thunderstrucknats, since she quit posting, (although I have seen her logged in reading stuff since then.)  People were afraid of her.

Best Argument/Debate Thread: Nats looking at Elijah Dukes
http://www.wnff.net/index.php/topic,3917.0.html

You ought to have a Mozt Create Tiv Spellar Aword.  I think metssuck, iluvryanzimmerman, and EricasNats cud winn uh threee-wey tye.

I took on the THUNDER! and THE ERICA won!

I added yours, but I didn't add the Elijah Dukes thread into the GD Thread award because, well, it wasn't a GD thread. :)

Elijah Dukes wasn't supposed to be in the Funniest thread either.  Just the Best Argument/Debate thread.  We questioned how many personal problems should be tolerated from a member of the team, when it was reported that we might trade for him.  Tampa Bay ended up sending him to the minors along with personal leave, and we landed Wily Mo Pena to satisfy our desire for more homers.

We should have a poll set up to provide a secret ballot.

My favorite thread was the Where were you Born one.  That's where NatsAddict and I learned that we are distant cousins.  How cool is that!

K..I added it. I figure that category SHOULD have the most nominees anyways. It is what this forum's all about, right? :)

Just noticed 3 out of the 4 GD Thread noms are away games. That's kind of surprising.

Ok, I have the perfect Funniest Thread:  the Kimnat Needs a Handyman thread.  Not because of the subject, but because of N2P's hilarious redneck jokes there!!

Why?  It would make sense for the Away game threads to be more popular since more people are at home watching the games opposed to being at RFK where they couldn't post in the GD thread.

How can the best debate/argument thread not have Nospinzone's Corner in it?  It's completely ripe w/ rich debate and hot arguments!

More people post in away Game Day threads, because a lot of them attend the home games.
JMAdison and Chief have magical moderator equipment to post while they are at the games.

But it's not necessarily for length (which, I agree, the longer ones would have more people/posts during away games), but for the greatness of the thread, which I thought would include more of the walk-off wins. I get what you're saying, though.

Kind of fused em all together so there weren't too many. Keep in mind, I'm going to have to separate all of these into polls at some point :)
