Seems like it has been a while since a SB blowout.

When everyone was sick of the Patriots winning the Super Bowl, the Eagles knocked them off, with that TD pass caught by the QB Foles.

Now that everyone is sick of the Chiefs winning the Super Bowl, the Eagles put a stop to that dynasty.

I don’t think they played a perfect game. Better team will win.

Eagles 30
Chiefs. 14

Unless Jurgens and Dickerson are both out.
Close.
Today was a perfect game. Well except for Saquon not getting a long TD.

Yes but he played great other than that. Which they needed cause the Chiefs took the running game away.

Four years. Super Bowl LV. Tampa beat Kansas City 31–9.

The Eagles pass rush kept their containment the whole game. It was like one of those big fishing nets off trawlers that sweep up everything. Still, it was the 2 picks at the end of the half that changed the game. For all the crud Brady gets about his losses, it wasn't him giving the game away

Some speculation Mahomes was concussed in the first quarter. His head hit the turf pretty hard on one play on the first drive.

I like Mahomes a lot. For over half a decade now I've enjoyed watching him use his immense talent to make impossible throws and lead his team to amazing wins and incredible comebacks. He seems like a genuinely nice guy off the field too.

Last night his team got outplayed in every aspect of the game and he played poorly too. Mahomes has won 3 Superbowls but he has been crushed in 2 other Superbowls. For the rest of NFL history, Mahomes critics will relish in pointing that out. It will pretty much end the "Is Mahomes GOAT?" debate which to his credit I don't think Mahomes has ever cared about. Mahomes was notably off this year as well, if you look at any statistics other than the number of games his team won something was wrong. KC needs to retool somehow during the offseason without the benefit of high draft picks.

Congrats, PWC, and fellow Iggles fans - the Iggles played an outstanding game, and were worthy winners. Chiefs made it easy for them - it's been a while since the offence was so woeful, and the defence gave away such crucial penalties (no wonder Spag was exploding on the sidelines). Difficult not to suspect that the 'three-peat' pressure finally got to them. Makes you wonder if those who claim it shall never be done might be right - if neither Brady or Mahomes could, then?...I suppose Mahomes is just coming into his peak years, so there's still time to try again, but...

Roll on 6th March... ;)

To be fair, the Tampa game wasn't really representative - Mahomes was crocked, and should never have played. Coach Reid later conceded that he should have started Henne.
