Darnold to Seattle. Lots of chatter that Rodgers is heading to Pittsburgh.

Two games may have cost him 9 figures. I can’t think of a more disastrous 10 day span for a player not involving injury

They didn’t get Darnold and the whole front office and coaching staff have their jobs on the line, so they can’t afford to rebuild behind a rookie

Looks like the Eagles are trying to save money to sign some of their younger stars rather than putting the chips all in for 2025.  Williams and Sweat seem like big overpays but would have liked to see them resign Rodgers at CB but still have some time and the draft. Wonder if they will trade Goeddert as rumored.

Chiefs re-sign Kareem Hunt and Nick Bolton.   They've also signed Gardner MInshew, so we assume it's 'goodbye Carson...'

Watching ESPN this morning discussing the Browns and the upcoming draft. Expectation is that the Browns will take Sanders at #2 and sign either Russell Wilson or Carson Wentz. I'm still not sold on Sanders but the ESPN guys said the Browns are high on him.

Cam Ward is likely to go #1 to Tennessee.

The Giants are talking to Wilson, Winston, and Rodgers with Wilson the likely front-runner.  If the Browns pick Sanders, the Giants end up with Travis Hunter, who IMHO is a much better pick.

The Steelers are pushing hard for Rodgers.

The browns need to qb and can’t afford one thanks to the worst contract in the NFL. The roster as a whole is good enough to compete, but they aren’t getting a free agent - that leave the draft and this is a crappy year to be in need of a qb

I’m sure he’ll love the supportive NYC media

Stefon Diggs to the Pats. They've had a pretty active off-season, especially on D, but also Diggs and a right tackle. 3 years, $69 million (niiiice!!! contract for him while he's 31 with an ACL). $26 million guaranteed. Maybe not a true #1 even when healthy, but easily their top receiver. Even their other receivers are happy with the pick up because it'll lead to fewer doubles and less coverage.

You’re excited about them paying for a washed up WR?  Now Milton Williams is something to be excited about.

better to roll dice that he can give them a good half season to a season and show he's not washed up than it is to go back with Douglas in the slot as #1.

He is high maintenance. Will have Drake Maye crying by year end.

yes, certainly with Allen and Cousins, but in a star receiver wants the ball kind of way. Not too uncommon. Supposedly, he was better last year when he realized the rookie wideout was better than he was.

In NE, if he's healthy, he's the clear #1 target unless they draft the 2-way guy and play him at wideout.
