What a game. Reminds me of the wild card game in 2019 as far as a late rally.

let's play "which bullpen can implode worse?"
Pierced Johnson gets one out the gives up a MArte 1B. Lindor Homers to put the Mets back up 8-7. Painful Piercing.

Wow. They showed a guy in the stands yelling "Lets go Mets" after Lindors home run. I'm sure emotions are running really high in that stadium right now. Might not be the way to go to taunt the home town fans. What a game.

I’m enjoying watching these teams use up their bullpens.

Looks like small crowd and lots of Mets fans.

I mean, the Braves just burned 7+ innings of shutout ball. The question is how hard do the Mets want to play

Mets are in. No celebrations until after the next game.

Well the Braves have to use Sale. Which means he won’t pitch in the wild card round. That’s a big disadvantage if they make it. The Mets will probably go down with a whimper in game two.

The Braves have really screwed themselves by losing both of these last 2 games.   Now they have to burn Sale, already used most of their bullpen, and may well have to use them again today.    They might as well just let Arizona go at this point, so someone has a chance.

And now Sale is out with back spasms. We all knew he would break down. But not this late in the season.

If the Braves win will this be the first time both clubhouses crack open the Champaigne at the same time. They should just unite and party together in the Battery.
