Great game tonight between Phils and Yankees. Yankees won it in extras. Harper is something like 1 for his last 22.

Yankees are having internal issues with Torres not wanting to shift to third.

The way Chisholm played it last night Torres might not have to. He played a great center field and had never played third according to the announcers. He looked a natural there.

Yankees sweep the Phils. Harper now something like 1 for 29. He ended the game by hitting into a double play with the Phils down by 1. It's going to be ugly for some team when he breaks out of this. I hope it's not us. The Yankee fans have looked like they've been as obnoxious in Philadelphia as the Phils fans are in DC. Good.

Yes, they're only 6th out of 30 in OPS with a 99% chance of making the playoffs.   Should be 1st and 100%.

Yep, Harper is something like 1 for his last 32. He should secretly email Darnell Coles for a few tips.

Phillies blew a 5-0 lead and lost in extra's. Harper is now something like 1 -27 and 2 - 37. The one at-bat he got a double on he kept fouling off 3-2 fastballs that he was late on. Finaly, he got a knuckle curve that floated over the middle of the plate and hit it in the gap in left. I would be concerned he can't get around on the fastball anymore if he was older but he's not there yet. He'll break out of this in a big way. When he went 0-24 it was the longest 0 fer of his career.

It was like old Nats home week on the field. Schwarber, Turner, Harper, Robles and Voth.

Robles first time up he hit a grounder to third. The Seattle announcer said he doesn't need to run full out on the way to first on that, we can't afford for him to get injured. He's very popular in Seattle. It looks like he's having a lot of fun. Later in the game he took a fastball off the knee but he's okay.

I will be at the game today.  Wheeler versus Gilbert. Should be a good one.

Home plate umpire was 1.3 runs in favor of the Mariners last night which is really egregious. Including the last batter who struck out before being walked. Phillies finding new ways to lose every day.  Hoffman has been their best reliever but gave up four runs to blow the lead.

I'm jealous. I'll get to a game in Seattle someday. The sky was awesome during the game last night. It looked like the stadium was near water too. Yeah that last batter could of been called out on strikes twice on borderline calls and when he checked swung on 2-2 he definitely looked like he went and the home plate umpire didn't even check with the first base umpire. They might want to check his bank account.

I provided good luck for the Phillies today. Or maybe it was Wheeler. Beautiful day. We sat behind home. Section 133 Row 37. So a good view but had shade all day. Blue Angels buzzing around all day. Will write more in out of town ballparks mode. Spent a good portion of the game on phone with Alaska as they cancelled the flight to Orlando tonight. And couldn’t get us on another flight till Wednesday. Then on the Delta app booking another flight. Victor had quite the day. He gave a fist bump to Realmuto arm before his first at bat.  And then was talking animatedly to the umpire. Looks like he is having fun out here.

Yes he did.  Including a HR. They hit four today. You really have to hit a ball hard to get out of there.

Victor has a Willie Mays catch and then next batter a diving catch coming in. Amazing.

Bryce went 3-4 with a home run. That catch Marsh made in center field was wild. The fly ball went to the warning track in right-center field. Marsh went back but lost it in the sun. He had his glove out and the ball fell into it. He seemed startled when he caught it and got a good laugh out of it.

Phillies are 5-1 against the Dodgers the past month. 5-13 against everyone else.
