Maybe. Makes no sense to me. I guess they figure a decent price so maybe you can trade him later? Maybe Ted just refuses to tank.

Kuzma and Poole cost about what they were paying Beal.

Hopefully trade bait and not a run at the 11th seed

Play in baby. And a chance for Ted to get two home playoff games!

Here's an upbeat article about the Wizards and some of their recent roster additions.  Although he said "the product on the court next year won't be pretty", the writer also noted that San Antonio's top talent scout and Coach Popovich "coveted Couibaly.  That's good enough for me."

Supposedly Utah was also interested. I guess Indiana threatened a trade with one of those teams and that’s why they made the trade to move up.

Monte Morris to the Pistons for a 2027 2nd round pick. Clears about $10 million in trade exception cap space.

Davis and Coulibaly both looked good today in the win. Davis was 9-17 overall including 3-4 on three balls. For 22 points. Bilal 5-10 including making the only three he took. Most impressively 4 blocks and 8-9 on free throws. Shows he has a decent stroke.  19 points.

One more consolation game I believe.

Gilbert Arenas' Big Three team, the Enemies, is in the final of that league.  Led by former Wizards legends Nick Young and Jordan Crawford.  Title game is next Saturday in London.  Do you think Gilbert laid a true in Nick's sneaker again?

Xavier Cooks is on the Australian team in the FINS World Cup which starts Thai week. They are the third rated team.
