Slides down the top 100 list. 28 to 47

Maybe Hassell has slid down someone's Top 100 list, but tonight he went 2-for-4, with a double, a walk, and two runs scored. Now hitting .309 with an OPS of .827.

I’d rather see him than Dickerson.

.412 slugging. ISO barely over .100. Almost a 27% K rate.

Hassell is right where he needs to be.

Not too worried about the ISO given the hamate injury but you really want to see him cut down on the strikeouts, especially at this level.

Yea, the power  was never gonna be a big tool. His K rate has jumped ever since he left the Padres system. The team has plenty of good defenders for the outfield, so he should just stay in the minors and develop his hit tool

Strike out and a single tonight against Griff McGarry (UVA) who is considered one of the better pitching prospects in the minors.

Same game. Posted that as I was watching. He was one for two against McGarry. Stopped watching after that.

I wanted to watch against McGarry who throws upper 90s and is the Phillies number three prospect. In the MLB top 100.  Hassell held his own. I don’t think the subsequent at bats were against McGarry as he was on a pitch limit per the announcers.
