Plan on heading to Harrisburg for tonight’s game (can’t pass up both a Wet Nose Wednesday and AAA 2 for 1 box seat tix). Will be interested to see him in person.

Small sample size and he is much younger than most guys he is going against. This season is so he can start next year in Double A with confidence.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him up here next September. The floor feels really high on him. I get a real Adam Eaton feel from his game.

he might be up here a lot sooner than September. A month or two of these kind of numbers next year in AA and he's getting a ticket to Rochester.

I see no reason to rush him unless they part ways with Robles and CF is really open.

They've been batting him exclusively #2. I'd like to see him leadoff some. CJ Abrams hasn't shown enough yet to be penciled in as the leadoff guy in the long term.

I am excited to hear reports on the glove next Spring. If he can hold up in CF, he is a much more exciting prospect.

he turns 22 next August.  I'd be happy if he spent a year at AA/AAA, got 500 PAs, and was up at the end of August 2023.  That's a fine timeline.  We aren't going to be in contention next year, so there's no reason to press that I can see.

Half next season at Harrisburg and half at Rochester. Bring him up next September unless Robles magically changes into the player the scouts predicted. I don't believe in magic, though.

Talknats reports Hassell exited today’s game with a hand/wrist injury that he’s been dealing with for a while. They speculate hamate. If that’s the issue then this is probably the ideal time to get the surgery

if it is a hamate, then he'll show no power in the minors next year.  That's OK as long as other aspects of his game progress.
