Seems like the "when to call him up" discussion resembles the one about James Wood last year.
Good to see House doing well, but nowhere near what James Wood did last year. Wood had a .463 OBP in Rochester last year with a 1.058 OPS and a nearly 1:1 BB:K ratio. House a solid .836 OPS, better than what Dylan Crews had last year in AAA, but Wood was ready well before his call up.
That said, with the team going nowhere this year, makes sense to call up House and let him break in this year, his offense will likely be ugly, but the experience would help him in '26. He still wouldn't get a full year of service, though our fine ownership and front pffice might want to wait until they get past the estimated Super 2 deadline.
