14 Ks, 0 BBs in 7 innings at fredericksburg. he should dominate at that level, but it's nice to see him go multiple innings.

And multiple games. Stretch him out, even if slowly.

wilmington for him is still rehab-like. build up his pitch count to real starter load before a bump to AA or AAA? or do you bump him soon when rutledge is bumped to AAA?

Let them be separate. Bump Henry only when his arm is ready for more pitches and all that.

Was lights out through 3 tonight. 3ip, 0h, 0r, 2bb, 3 k.

Fell apart a little in the 4th. Leadoff single, but then 2 outs. An infield single that's a routine ground ball out in the bigs wouldve ended the inning. Instead it kept it alive followed by a triple and a single, and Henry is done.

Final line: 3.2ip, 4 h, 4r, 2bb, 3 k.

They did hit the ball hard a couple times in the 4th but the inning should've been over. Bottom line doesn't look good, but looked better than the line indicates.

I'm kind of in the camp, let him finish out the year in the minors, no matter what. However many innings they deem legit, go there, take the confidence, and a couple more months of health into 2024. The Nats will have to get creative with an innings limit no matter what, but if he wins a job early, he wins a job early.

It'll be much easier to manage his innings in the minors. They can afford to be conservative in bringing him along. Give Rutledge a shot after Irvin. If Saenz or somebody looks good give them a shot too. We can hope he gets a chance in 2024.

No real need to drive him above Harrisburg. Maybe Rochester toward the end of the season. He his recovering from an unusual surgery, so go easy.

2 good short outings back to back in AA. Up to 25 innings on the year between 3 levels.

I mean, lets not overreact just yet. This could be something simple.
