rehabbing now with FCL

Made 2 rehab appearances in the FCL:
-1 inning giving up 3 earned runs (only time this year he’s given up 3 or more in one appearance) but that was his first action back
-3 innings giving up 1 hit, no walks with 3 Ks

Then he moved back up to high A where he has made 2 starts:
- 4 innings giving up 2 hits, 1 walk, no runs, and striking out 6
- 5 innings giving up 2 hits, 2 walks, no runs, and striking out 6

On the year he has a 2.68 ERA in 37 IP with 54K/12BB and 23 hits given up for a 0.95 WHIP and a .178 AVG against.  Won’t turn 23 until mid July next year.  Probably will start on AA next year.  He looks very promising

From MLB.Com:

Quote
Cole Henry, RHP (No. 8), High-A Wilmington
Henry hurled yet another solid start, this time going five scoreless innings with seven strikeouts and only two hits allowed in the form of a pair of singles in the second inning. The 2020 second-rounder worked efficiently after a 19-pitch first inning, tossed 49 of his 65 pitches for strikes and fanned three of the first four batters he faced. It’s the third straight scoreless outing for Henry, who owns a 1.89 ERA in eight High-A appearances with 54 strikeouts in 38 innings.
