Do yourself a favor and make this. Today, while tomatoes and corn are really good. You’re welcome. Seriously. Do it.

Momofuku is a chain of Korean-fusion places in NYC, DC and a few others.

SI rated The Fours the top sports bar in the country about 10-15 years ago, same issue they rated CCSP #20.  I used to hit The Fours a few times on my way back from New Hamster when I flew out of Logan.  I think I watched the 2017 Marathon there in a huge rainstorm.  Great memorabilia.  COVID casualty.  I think the real estate was too valuable to get a rent concession if the did not own the place, and if they did, I'd imagine they could make a mint for the space.   It was a half block from the Garden on Canal.

I heard that the Middle East restaurant/club is closing too.  And TT the Bear's closed a few years ago.

I guess underground music and biotech hubs don't mix (Central Square was pretty grotty when I lived there in the 80s, I barely recognised the place when I was up there for a work a year or two ago).

I may have run into you at the Middle East back then.  I wouldn't know why biotech kills underground music but webservice  backbones like those based in Seattle don't.

I meant to post this here earlier. If you’re looking for good Texas style barbecue, I’d try 2fifty in Riverdale. It’s easily the best I’ve had in the area. Their Instagram feed is food pictures. Their claim to fame is their Wagyu brisket, which is melt in your mouth delicious. Best brisket I’ve ever had. They opened up in mid-pandemic. The owner is from El Salvador but went to study with pit masters in Texas.

It’s soooooo good. Give it a try.

The convenience store around the corner has a pretty good beer selection.

Next time any of you are in the Haymarket area, check out Ethel's Deli:
https://www.yelp.com/biz/ethel-s-ny-deli-haymarket

We picked up sandwiches there a few days ago and they were as good as anything i've ever had.  The roast beef on the french dip had zero fat and was melt-in-your mouth good.  They are owned by the same folks who own Eugene's Sausage and Fries which used to be in that location, but recently moved up the road a bit.  Eugene's is also fantastic.

Ethel's is only currently open 8-2.

This chicken recipe was really awesome.  Can be made with boneless chicken breasts, as well as thighs
