Rizzo said it would take a pretty spectacular set of circumstances for hHarper to be dealt. Well, Mike, we're like 10-30 over the last 6 weeks.

That's way different than what his take has been in the past. That's practically "Call me" coming from Rizzo.

It isn't.   Still bad though.  23-33 last 56.

Exaggerating, but luckily Ray looked it up for me. Only 23-33! :?

What's John McLaren doing these days?  He has the best won-lost record of any Nats manager in history.

:hysterical: The hell with you!

Funny thing is, I'm not even really a Knorr fan, I just picked up this screen name as a speculative move around when Acta was on the hot seat.  Didn't bother to change it because there was always the possibility of Knorr becoming an interim manager and people had developed the screen name association, so the hell with it.

Strasburg just saved Martinez for another year, the crap season will be blamed on injuries. Question is whether Martinez is done with the camels.

If we're talking about bringing back old DC managers, let's go big time and bring back Ted Williams's brain!

His post-game press gatherings are even worse.

Nothing is a bigger waste of time than post game press conferences or a bigger waste of money than paying athletes to make gust appearances on tv and radio.

I can't say enough about how bad this manager is.  We don't have the luxury of starting Zimm to get try to get him right.  We are 6 games back.  It's go time.  Let Zimm play against LHP and play Adams against RHP.  Zimm effectively extinguished two scoring chances tonight.

Then in the 10th, I was yelling at the TV, don't bring in the 5th infielder with no outs.  If you want to get cute, do it with 1 out so you have the chance to turn a DP. With no outs, you have to go home anyways.  So maddening.

This is why Zimmerman started btw: Entering today, righties were batting .321 with a .907 OPS vs. Richards. Lefties were batting .202 with a .590 OPS. And Richards throws a ton of changeups. Adams likes his fastballs. Still, Adams has been very good.

So then why did Weiters bat from the left side against Richards?  Davey and analytics are F'ing the season.
