great story,  I thought you were one of the troops.

Nope that was the dad. Being 10 I didn’t appreciate or get his humor or the goodwill he was showing the troops as he had been doing over many, many years and continued through Vietnam. I was pissed because I was the only one in the family going to see Bob.

Is there any chance that Harper is rooting for the guys he is friends with that are still on the team to win tonight? :stir:

that would make him an absolute douche. There has to be at least a sliver of him that wishes his friends well.

Stevenson isn’t on the roster.

I think he's advocating putting Vic on the IL and bringing Stevenson up regardless if that means Vic can't play in the NLCS...

I completely doubt it. And I don’t hate Bryce, just feel like he’s totally the type to be petty about this.

Oh c'mon Skippy - it's no different than if any of us left a job for another - even Bryce has friends in DC

Stevenson isn’t on the roster.
Right.  So now there are no pinch runners on the roster.  Robles' spot should have been filled by Stevenson.

Torn to shreds by my 110 lb yellow lab a few years ago.  I kinda gave up drinking anyway.

Don’t you get to put a new roster in for each series?

If Robles is replaced, then he's not eligible for the next series.

Not having a pinch runner can be the difference between winning and losing.
