I even went to Party City.     Of course, I should have gone to the doctor but a man has to have priorities.     :)

What, did you get streamers and party balloons? You are a very complicated man.

I got some Halloween stuff and a Nats' balloon to hang on my Nats' banner.     Multi-tasking is my thing.

The balloon is a nice touch.

I wonder if we see Zimm PH for Howie as soon as Kershaw enters the game. I would much rather have Zimm than Howie in late-innings defensively and as much as I love Howie, Zimm gives me more confidence at the dish right now.

Cards lead 10-0 top of 1st, most runs scored in 1st inning in post season history and ties most runs scored in any inning.

TBS announcers practically having an orgasm over the Cards right now.  Speculating already when they’ll pull Flaherty to save him for the NLCS.

would you rather

score 10 in the 1st on a comedy of errors by LA and no iconic moments really and then spend 3 hours terrified you're going to blow it, and give up 7 but win 10-7

OR

be down 2-0 for 7 innings and then score 5 in the 7th and 8th on big-dick home runs and hold on to win 5-4
