Actamaniac there is one I have not heard from or about for too long a time. She was fun to read.
Flannys was a tavern owner and very passionate fan. A shame he passed before team hit its stride.
I run into sofie and Dave at the stadium from time to time. Always a pleasant  encounter.

Correct. I didn't know FP went on there in disguise. Tell Sophie and her husband I said hi. I always thought at some point her husband would post but I guess he figured Sophie had it covered.

Kimbellhi was another guy who was very good on the MLB board.

I really want MLB to make those old threads available to view. So much team history from 2004-2008 that you can't find in archived news articles and most of the old blogs have been deleted.

I believe Kimbellhi was once Expos84 or 94 before switching to Kimbellhi. His original avatar was a Montreal Expos bobble head doll. (Pretty sure)
 Kimbellhi did get a bit excited about the rookies but he was a very knowledgeable baseball guy that loved to talk about situations and strategies of the game. His energy and excitement for baseball was infectious.
I believe he got bullied one time too many so he quit and said he was gonna go work on his golf game.
Good guy I miss him.

Sofie once arranged a cook out tailgate in the parking lot on Potomac Ave and Bob Carpenter came out and joined us. Other than myself it was Sofie, her husband and Sean ( can't remember his board name) present. A lot of the talk was whether Adam Dunn would be resigned. Seems since then whenever such discussion occurs about a player, he in fact never resigns.
A few games later Bob invited us up to the broadcast booth. This was a couple weeks after Dibble had been dribbled out.
That place is so high up I have no idea how they can call games from that vantage point.

I remember reading the posts about that when it happened. No matter what folks think of BC's game calling, I've always been amazed by how willing to engage with the fans he was. I highly doubt there were any other broadcasters who took part on their team's forum, let alone visited a tailgate, or invited people to the booth.

I've run into him at the park a couple of times and he was as nice as can be. I actually ran into him at a Shake Shack in Pentagon City once and I said something like "See you later, Bob" as I was walking past him and he laughed and said hello. Nice guy, it seems like.
