Rotation, sure, for now. Ask in a couple months when Stras and Corbin go to the DL
Bullpen .... no, not really. It has the potential to be better but that's all it is. Doolittle is still a huge injury risk. Trevor Rosenthal hasn't thrown a MLB inning since August of 2017. Kyle Barraclough is coming off his worst year and is a fly ball pitching coming from one of the most pitcher friendly parks in baseball. Everyone else is the same.
Lineup - If you assume that 2018 Bryce Harper is in the lineup, okay. But losing 2017 or 2015 Harper is simply impossible to overcome. The lineup lacks power, and there is no one in the lineup that opposing teams circle and say that they can't let that person beat you.
Exactly why I said health is the concern... Not the Phillies, or the Braves, or the Mets.
We have power in the lineup. Rendon, Zimmerman/Adams, Soto, Dozier.
We have 4 Hitters that are .280 and above. And 4 that are .260. That wins games.
We win the division last year if we won 9 more games. And I can assume 9 games if I wasn't missing Murphy, Zimmerman, Stras and Doolittle for months. And I believe I will have better results from Corbin and Sanchez vs. Gif and Tanner.
But yes, if we have half the team on the DL for months at a time we won't win. That applies to any team.
