MLB.com suggests the best landing spot for Adam Jones would be the Nationals. If they can get him for a 1 year contract on the cheap I'd like to see that. While I have thought Taylor would be a good player ever since I saw him at AA, I'm no longer confident he can do it. Seems like he may fall off like Espinosa. Jones would be a good option as a fourth outfielder and insurance in case of injury.

Saw an article that said that the only Oriole that played for them in 2014 that was still on the roster was Chris Davis. The Nats still have a handful from that time, including Zimmerman, Strasburg, Taylor, Rendon and Barrett.

I think Jones highly values staying in the area. He would probably play here for a significant discount.

He bought Cal Ripken's Reisterstown estate. But I don't know what to make of that. Clearly he doesn't want to be an Oriole. I doubt he'd commute to DC from Reisterstown.

Hoskins is moving to 1B. They signed McCutcheon to play LF. Herrera is the CF. I don’t think they would sign Jones after last year. He vetoed a trade there. Couldn’t afford rent in an apartment for two months I suppose.

as long as Davey is the coach doesn't matter what the team does in the offseason
and I think they made a lot of good moves (except no Harper or replacement for Harper)

I'd really, really, really like us to sign Adam Warren. Reliable, multi-inning RHP who is way more of a sure thing in middle relief than the guys we have now.
