I wonder if we would be interested. Adding him and Dallas Keuchel would be fantastic.

Trade for Jean Segura and Yan Gomes. Game, set, match.

Kikuchi has an extensive injury history.

Well this would suck:

Sources indicate the Braves have a strong offer on the table for Marlins All Star Catcher J.T. Realmuto. MIA may prefer him dealt outside of NL East, but at this point team is operating as though a trade is likely to happen.

I tried telling you all this. Atlanta is freaking loaded. They could legitimately trade for Realmuto, sign Harper and Machado, and still have a payroll under 160 million.

LAC.

Don’t expect much this offseason in terms of free agent signings.

Apparently the D-Backs are listening to offers on Paul Goldschmidt. If that's true, then they're having a genuine firesale.

What do you all think the price of Robbie Ray would be?

Luis Garcia?
IF that's really all it would take, do it. His Home/Away splits are dramatic. He'd do well away from that home run park.

The humidor made that not a home run park anymore last year.  19th out of 30 parks in HRs.

I bet Alex colome would not be too expensive.

But rather, I'd like something like:

Resign Bryce

and trade Eaton, the kiebooms, Crowe, and Fedde for Segura, paxton and colome

The Mariners needed a CF so bad, the pushed Dee Gordon into the roll.

he was not playing 2nd with Cano there.

The Braves already have two good catchers.  Not sure why they would need Realmuto.  If they do trade for him, they'll probably give Suzuki to the Marlins, rather than let the Nationals deal for him.

Suzuki is ancient and is a free agent.
Flowers is 32 and is a backup

Haven’t heard anything about the Nats being interested in the young pitcher from Japan. LAC?

Sorry, I forgot about Suzuki's status.  He's ancient, but in good shape for his age and has had two consecutive good seasons.
I don't think of Flowers as a backup.  He's good for 90 games, no?

Not if you have the opportunity to grab the best catcher in baseball.

The Wasington Post is reported as saying Harper turned down a Nats offer of $300 million.  Is that true???????

Now that Joe Mauer and David Wright have retired, is Ryan Zimmerman the longest tenured player to stay with one team?

Edit: Scratch that, forgot about Yadier Molina

What about Jonathan Lucroy at C? I think I'd prefer him over Yasmani Grandal and he should be much cheaper.

Per Zuck:
2018 stats: 454 PA, .241 AVG, .291 OBP, .325 SLG, .617 OPS, 4 HR, 51 RBI, -11 DRS, -0.7 bWAR

I'd rather have Wieters.

I agree, but Wieters should be a backup on a competitive team, as should Lucroy.  One thing about Lucroy -- he doesn't clog up the bases as much.

Not sure what Miami thinks they're going to get for Realmuto.  They better take the best offer soon.  He's approaching the "best used by" date.

An awesome offseason for the Nats would really be (IMO):

Sign Patrick Corbin - 5 years, 100M
Sign Yasmani Grandal - 4 years, 48M
Sign Greg Holland - 3 years, 30M
Trade a package of Taylor, Luis Garcia, and Jefry Rodriguez for Jean Segura

Segura moves to 2B, Grandal is the starting catcher, Corbin slots in behind Strasburg, Holland rounds out the pen in 8th/7th innings.
