It's like a bad inside joke. People on twitter seem to think stuff like that is funny. It's a bit tongue in cheek.

Most likely, yes. It's her job to report on the team and tweeting their record is probably a regular thing for her. The rest was just the Internet being itself.

Making a sexual reference on Twitter is the last thing Chelsea would do, especially if she's representing The Post. It just so happens the Nats' record was 69-69, and the people who are aware of the "nice" meme jumped at the chance.

I'm not sure if it was innocent but probably. I don't follow her that closely. But I agree that she would be taking a risk.
