The only reason to go to Scotland is to go canoeing and drink whisky.

Look for my peeps and drink.

Potato quality, but a memorable scene from Parks and Recreation:

Tiger wins.

I caught the end of it, it was like watching a WWE event.

Reminded me Arnie's Army:
People wonder why the news are always talking about him when he hasnt been winning. That’s why. People love a redemption story.

I see the USA winning 3-1. Too early for me as I need to be in the road today.

The USA might as well just forfeit now and come home. Even the Nats perform better under pressure than these guys. I guess Furyk will take the blame. Maybe FP can come up with some reasons.

Furyk effed this up when he used Captain's picks on Tiger & Phil.  They need to dominate the afternoon session to have any chance.

Why he's putting Tiger back out there this afternoon is beyond me.

I haven’t watched any but looks from the scores that they almost all are taking major beat downs. I think the Euro captain took flak for some of his captains picks like Sergio. But they always produce. Euros = Clutch.

It is a beatdown.    After yesterday morning, it's been no bueno.     The late matches this after noon are the only chance to make it respectable

I kind of feel the same way about Phil and to a lesser degree Tiger.    Sentimental picks  ...  viewers.     But I wonder who else is out there?

All they have to do is win 8 of the 12 singles matches. No biggie.

They were both terrible picks with terrible career RC records, no lesser degree about it.

Phil: 18-22-7 (0-2 this week barring a miracle)

Tiger: 13-21-3 (0-4 this week)  USA has not won when Tiger played since 1999.

I'd have taken any two among Xander Schauffele, Kevin Kisner, Keegan Bradley and Kuch over Tiger and Phil.

I've always been a big fan of Furyk and still am.  However, we needed Big Jim to have a shot.  Instead we got lil' j.  We'll get 'em at Whistling Straits in 2020.

Of course  ...  :)     I imagine the course will be closed or opening late if the weather is as bad as predicted.    I know most of the folks there.      I'll walk in and give 'em my faux nagin' routine about how I used to golf in snow storms in W. PA.     :P
