That's the best approach when you get worked up. Most of the posters here have dealt with a lifetime of DC team playoff failures. It's become part of the culture. And they are always right in the end!

I'd post a quick take someone sent us at the game but I don't know how to post it.    It was a shot from the 3rd base camera.    Hawpah was battin' and we appear just above and to the left of his batting glove.           Somebody at home froze it and sent it to one of the other guys.    Pretty cool.     We were probably on several times.    VaRK texted me when that foul ball screamer hit off the railing a few rows in front of us.    I think he thought we were taken out by the shot.

I'm glad there was some positive out of Harper's at bats yesterday. 😉

8 rows up from the field on the aisle in 131.      I try not to roam during playoff games.    I gotta concentrate.     Did a pre-game roam (Bullpen; Loft, etc.) lookin' for bluestreak.     He was probably avoidin' me and I can't blame him.

Good point and I agree Kendrick should start.  However guys 1-5 in the lineup did next to nothing and they are the ones who are supposed to carry the team. They laid a big egg yesterday. That's the main reason they lost.

Agreed. It's just more difficult to win if the manager refuses to put the best team on the field. Unless Werth suddenly turns the clock back several years, he's going to hurt our chances again. Having Wieters in front of Taylor is going to hurt our chances again.

While this is generally true, I think there's a reason Dusty Baker has never won a World Series despite being at the helm of a great many talented teams.

It's not just that he hasn't won, it's that 16 of his 21 postseason wins as manager were in 2002-03. Outside of those two seasons he's 5-17.

Someone here compared it to the Caps hiring Trotz when his ceiling has been the same as theirs. Pretty spot on assessment.

Not a good comparison for me. Trotz never has the talent on Nashville.
