Just finished watching the Rewind- So much fun to see from that perspective- I watched from Section 143 in and was surrounded by Cubs fans- I felt like I was in Chicago trapped between the bleacher bums.  It was a tense game - but like Friday nite, the Nats fans got into it  with chants.  Things got quiet between the 5-7 innings a cloud seemed to roll in over the crowd. In my section the “let’s go Cubbies” grew louder.   But when Adam Lind hit his single – it changed-  He  ignited the fans’ hope and the players  resort.  When Bryce jacked it –the joint rocked.  When Zimm’s fly landed in the flower bed-  South Capitol Street shook!!! From then until the game ending DP - it was loud and electric no need for the scoreboard urge on fans to "make noise."  It was real! Exciting like game 4 in 2012 but this buzz lasted longer! Bring it back home, boys and we will make even more noise!!! Let’s go Nats!

Going to Ramparts now to say high to the homer-ball bartender.

For those that were at the Werthquake game and last night, how did the two compare in terms of loudness? Last night was the loudest crowd I’ve ever heard in a baseball stadium.

Werthquake was louder, by a noticeable degree.  I was deafened.  I think last night people were (happily) stunned and speechless, could not believe that Bryce crushed the ball as hard as he did.  Zim's was hard to see, looked like it could be caught right up until the last second, so not the same "blast" of sound.

It may also have something to do with the percentage of cubs fans from last night compared to the percentage of cardinals fans in 2012.

I was at both Werth 2012 and last night. I put Werth’s walk off just slightly ahead. I think because it ended it. Last night the park exploded. Saw a tweet a guy said he heard the park 1 mile away. But still had the 9th to go, I don’t think anyone sat down from Lind’s single on. That is now 3 games I will never forget Being Stras debut, Werth walk-off, and now Bryce and Zimm save the game!!
