You have a closer with a poor relationship with the team - being tossed aside 2 times now - both when he had done well in the regular season - what is to say not getting papalbun (sp) and getting a few good relievers would have done - they destroyed storen - living off anger his first few 8th innings could not hold him up more then those games

I am not defending storen - but the team screwed up his head big time

if he is that mentally and emotionally fragile, I dont want him anywhere near my team. The sooner he is gone, the better.

the umpire

Looked to me like the dugout. They were jawing at him to stop complaining.

IF YOU MAKE THEM HIT THE BALL, SOMEONE MIGHT CATCH IT!

I tell that to the pitchers on my Little League team.  :hysterical:

How can you be NL MVP when you're 0 for 8 in the two biggest games of the season for his team?

I'm angry that I was a supporter. I'm with you. Freak this guy.

In the words of Chad Cordero, Pitching is Pitching. He didn't care what the situation was. Sure, relievers like to be closers, but pitchers should never be concerned about anything other than their next pitch. That's the freaking job. Period. Pitching is Pitching. Drew doesn't understand that. If he needs to be coddled like a delicate flower to perform, he is in the wrong damn business.

Where was that pitch for us?

I guess you're not going to get a call if you've thrown 90% balls, but that call really sucked.
