Janssen needs to be DFAd. Bring up anyone from the minors.

Matt must go. We need a manager that has the guts to make non-conventional moves that put the team in the best position to win when everything is on the line.

I rag on Terry Collins a lot (because making fun of the Mets is a sport up here), but he would have had Paps pitching the 7th.  Dude pitches like it's game 7 EVERY game, and we needed that tonight.  How do you not have a lefty up ready for Moss in this situation??

What made Matt think that Janssen would be any better tonight after blowing the game last night??

I was sitting here just thinking that, especially once it became clear he was trash again tonight.  Janssen needs to be outright released tonight and MW needs to be fired before it hits midnight here in Central time.

In the first two games of this series, the Cardinals have scored 10 total runs in innings 7-8-9. Papelbon hasn't pitched yet.

At least Papelbon will be available tomorrow.    That is Matt's mantra.
Won't be a save situation after Max gives up 4 dongs.

Cards announcer said before the homer that when Janssen throw more than 18 pitches in an inning his ERA is nearly 11

Moss is a .213 hitter. That must have been the fattest pitch in history.

I don't necessarily agree that Papelbon should have come in, but anyone other than Janssen should have pitched the ninth.

The thing is the Cardinals didn't even care about that game. They are on pace to win a million games as it is.

And he pitched a bunch last night, like 28 pitches I think-he was shot :(

I don't know. That 73mph hanger to Pham was pretty fat.

Williams should do the honorable thing and resign.

That home run came on Casey Janssen's 48th pitch in the last 24 hours.

Even if he starts the 9th he should not have faced LH Moss.

Ya know the truism that gets used in sports so often: "A team resembles the manager", or something along those lines, well, we're seeing that. The lack of situational awareness on this team is astounding. It's one thing when there's a talent deficiency. That's not the case here. They're playing bad baseball.

The Cards care about every game. That's why they win.

Don't give him the dignity.

I don't know how Lerner doesn't clean house in the off-season starting with Rizzo.  You want to support that clown you walk the plank with him.  And throw Storen overboard as the anchor that sank the nats playoff games.

Brain dead Desmond, retirement home bound Werth, disabled list hound dog Ryan Zimmerman, and Wilson "Why do I have a glove" Ramos all say hello.

If you want the clearest reason why MW should be gone like now, this is it.  Beyond even just using Janssen, to not have someone ready.  I mean...  Wow.
