I'll say it, Rendon sucks this season.

Rendon doesn't do much at all. No wonder he is coming off the bench. He looks lost.

Might be time for Tony to worry.

I don't want to see the Nats pets either.

Rendon has turned his swing into Desmond's.  Tries to pull everything.

Seriously. Thought he was going to do a 360 on each of those cuts. Sucks

5 outs that inning and we still freaked up. Funny how the benched players (Werth and Rendon) really freaked things up.
Matt still has to find a way to let them ruin games even without starting them. Truly unbelievable.

This team has no chemistry.  They look so miserable out there.  I guess I would be too if you were on this really bad losing skid.

Option these guys down to Syracuse while there's still some time left. That's a real 'change'. Shake this bum team up.

So many things wrong with this team. The offense should have scored 10 runs instead of 5. Scherzer killed us. So many things wrong with this freaking team.

Will no one in this organization express any anger at how this season is slipping away?

Something has to be wrong with Scherzer.  He's been terrible ever since the all star break.

I have only seen that chemistry a few times this year. Mostly they look stoic, tight, uninterested, bored, emotionless...

that pitch right there was a horrible mistake pitch left on the inner half and he whiffs.
Hard to be in a rhythm when every third or fourth day is a day off.  Matt Williams has created a "bench effect" for Werth, Rendon, and Zim.  It will take significantly longer for them to find their swings with all the off days because that time off does not compound linearly.  Slowing progress compounds exponentially with days off.  But hey, great lineup change today.  Got your 5 runs but had no one to hit off the bench who was used to doing that in key spots.  Look, Werth, Rendon, and Zim may be struggling but they are going to have to get hot for us to do anything and that is going to require everyday ABs.  The lineup that played tonight is not winning playoff games but a fully healthy and locked-in Zim, Werth, and Rendon would go a long way towards doing that.  Too bad it won't happen because the manager isn't prioritizing getting them going over the marginal injury risk that comes with returning and playing every day.
