Oddly enough, I got my invoice for playoff tickets in the mail today.

For what team?

Why do we think Fister will be any better?

Guys, I'm not going to say I told you so anymore. Matt should be fired after the game tonight and leaving Max in is the final straw.

wow Matt Williams doesn't even care. Should have pinch hit for him last inning. He clearly does not have it tonight. :(

Im going to say "no" only because Rizzo doesn't want to admit his mistake.  The only way he gets canned is if old man Lerner tells him to. That could lead to Rizzo quoting.

I completely agree.

Max Scherzer during his Cy Young season averaged 6.8 innings per start.  Last year he averaged 6.67.  This year he's averaged about 7.1, and before the last two starts it was around 7.2.

It is going to be so awkward to play out the last month and a half with the team totally out of the race. When will the team finally admit that it is over and that this was an embarrassing collapse?

Someone needs to ask Williams, "From what you saw tonight, does Max look healthy to you?"  When Matt starts his BS, he/she needs to say, "The performance you saw tonight, THAT was the performance of a healthy pitcher?"

He cares he's just freaking clueless, I think it's beyond him to realize his $210 million dollar man would serve the team better sitting his ass on the bench after 2 innings.

MW reminds me of the Seinfeld episode when Costanza was trying his best to get fired from the Yankees.

It worked for Strasburg so that means Matt won't do it

That's not the point. The point is to save Scherzer from throwing more pitches.
