I'm glad we're getting a new manager also.  However, not everything was his fault.  The multitude of injuries set us back immeasurably.  Take Span for example.  He was sensational and missed pretty much the entire year.  Werth was never the same this year.  Zimm was out, came back, hit like crazy and was re-injured.  Williams was definitely too rigid but missing these big bats was a huge loss for us.

Matt Williams is so confused by the way these managers are using their staff, especially during elimination games.  It must be making him chew his gum extra hard trying to figure out why guys are not in their normal roles.

So, of the "fired" coaches, who have now been retained in another capacity other than Knorr, and what are those capacities?

Who is left pounding the pavement?  McCatty, Schu and Tarasco?

Boswell (or someone, preferably not Feinstein) should write a book about the last 2 years. Best seller material. Based on the Papelbon incident there must have been some serious distrust of Williams.
