Usually the extension is the first step to getting fired. If they somehow miss the playoffs or don't win at least one series in the playoffs he will be gone. Rizzos clock is ticking so he will not mess around and keep him. The extension is just he can't say he lost the club cause he was a lame duck.

Noticed the avatar. Was going to cheer for caps today but somehow the Flyers are back in the race. They would have been better off tanking for a high draft choice.

You know what my problem is? I can't tell the difference between this team and the 2013 or 2014 models. Particularly at the manager level.
