No he hasn't.  There are rumors that some of the players feel like Williams is too uptight and the clubhouse isn't loose.

Why would Randy Knorr be better?  One of Matt Williams problems is that he's dumb.  I don't see a mensa member when I see Knorr.

Players love him, though. It doesn't seem like they do Matt. Knorr's been with several of these guys since the minors and around all of them, except maybe Zim, the whole time they've been in DC. I don't know how smart he is, but he's got the respect of the locker room, again, something MW may or may not have.

I'd rather hire a Manager with experience who's managed before.

Look at all the recent World Series champs. They all have Managers that managed someplace else(with varying degrees of success).

Bochy-Padres before Giants
Farrell-Blue Jays before Red Sox
La Russa-White Sox and Athletics before Cardinals
Girardi-Marlins before Yankees
Francona-Phillies before Red Sox
