The beginning of 3rd quarters are like death for the Wizards.

Why doesn't Wall attack the basket?

Yeah. But I think when it really starts to matter, pierce and nene are gonna be playing more minutes. Wall needs to start getting some rest too. It seemed like the wiz missed a lot of close shots last night

He is playing through migraines and two sprained ankles

They all seem beaten down.  Gortat has lost his mojo also.  They would be best resting John a few games.

It might be me but everytime I watch Charlotte against Gortat and our front line, he owns us.

Gortat needs his mohawk back.

I'm not watching until they start playing like the Wizards again.  The new Wizards this year and not the old ones.

This is how Wall should play no matter what the score is. He's at his best when he's looking to get to the basket and score. He'll still get his 8-10 assists per game.

First, this team desperately needs better shooters.  Next, Randy Wittman has to go.  The Wizards were down by one and they kept getting stops at the defensive end but kept putting up brick after brick on the offensive end.  After the second time going down court without scoring, still down by one, he needs to call a timeout and setup a play...and while you've got them, chew their asses out for their shooting and terrible ball movement.

They beat the Magic 96-80 last night, following up their blitzing of the Nets on Saturday...but if they commit 20 turnovers again (like they did last night) tomorrow night at Toronto they're going to get crushed by a 25-point margin, no matter how well the rest of their game (notably rebounding) holds up = and that'll be a pretty bad way to go into the All-Star break. Against top teams, turnovers are fatal.

Good point.  Watching it on replay now. Orlando didn't provide much resistance. Someone needs to step up the three point shooting.  Wonder if Beal will play?

Let's see.   We have the Wiz at 7:30, Maryland at 9 and the Caps at 10:30.    This is a good evening.     :)

This is not good news.

Heard earlier today that he was out again but hadn't heard this.    Not good but at least he has an extra week off with the AS break.

“It’s nothing,” Wizards Coach Randy Wittman said before Wednesday’s game. “It’s just a little hot spot there. That was it. It was nothing more than that. He’ll get a week off from the break and they’ll look at it and see where he’s at.”

I wanna see Porter do well but he seems to be not quite up to the task.   Could be seasoning.
