“It’s nothing,” Wizards Coach Randy Wittman said before Wednesday’s game. “It’s just a little hot spot there. That was it. It was nothing more than that. He’ll get a week off from the break and they’ll look at it and see where he’s at.”
I have lots of hot spots too.

They built up a lead only to see it evaporate in the 4th. Book it.

No lead is too big for this team to blow.

They just can't keep up with teams that can shoot the three; which is all the good teams.
Drew Gooden siting today; he is not good defensively but can at least shoot.

This team needs some shooters in the worst way.  That last series of plays is precisely why they lose so many big leads.  There are times in every game where they go down court over and over and over again and can't hit a shot and their ball movement is awful.

What's your take?    Think it's a Wall thing?

They don't have enough good shooters, especially three point shooters.  Oh, and they stand around too much.

This is good because if we play Toronto or Atlanta postseason they will be overconfident.  It's brilliant strategy by our team.

They have a lot of plodders when Beal isn't in there.   IMO they have no low post speed or quickness.

Rumor has it they are in the Ray Allen chase; if they don;t get him they may sign Will Bynum (ex of Detroit) after the China league season is open.  Won't solve all the problems but gives them a quicker backup point guard who can score some.

The Wiz need some of the young guys (especially Porter) to step up.

Bradley Beal
DeJuan Blair
Rasual Butler
Drew Gooden
Marcin Gortat
Kris Humphries
Andre Miller
Nene
Paul Pierce
Otto Porter
Kevin Seraphin
Garrett Temple
John Wall
Martell Webster

Not much quickness here.   I don't see Allen or Bynum as any help to the ploddiness.

Every little bit helps.  Need some way to generate more consistent scoring. Hopefully Beal will be back soon.

He should take a breath like the rest of us and recall what the 20 win seasons were like.
