This is the worst managed/coach team in baseball.

You can't let Harper go up there without a specific duty laid out to him.  He sucks to much to let him just swing away.  You've got to have some sort of play on to get LaRoche home.  Yes, it probably won't work but letting batters (ie Harper) go up there with only what's swimming around in his head was going to end badly.

LaRoche should have been bunting.  That way, they would not have stranded a leadoff runner at 2d.

Matt said on the pregame radio show that the plan was to be patient against Burnett. He must have not shared the plan with his players. :bang:
Ramos' AB might have been the worst all year. Just disgusting.

should have had contact play on with Harper's propensity for weak contact lately. or even make Harper bunt.

Marlon Byrd has been on fire lately. He'll probably have 8 hits in the series.

This is starting to feel so much like last year around the All Star break.

and that's game, set, and match.

Jordan Zimmermann not trying to fool anybody. laid an 0-0 heater right in the wheelhouse of a guy who has always owned him.

And that might be the worst pitching sequence I've seen all season. Shameful from an "all star".

Does anyone actually think we'll score 3 runs today? Burnett always owns us. Expect to see more weak groundball outs and strike outs.

great to have Harper back.  if he wasn't so hyped he'd be in the minors.

We can't possibly think about starting Espi at 2B next year can we? Assuming Zim moves to 1B, Rendon becomes 3B fulltime, we have GOT to get a major league caliber 2B. I know Espi is a great fielder but I am sick of his 3-4 Ks per game. Every out is precious.

We've been saying this for going on three years now.
