That was an awful game.

And yet it wasn't the worst loss of the season.

Now go to the Williams presser.  MASN always delays the press conference.

No delay!

You can say what you want but Harper, Werth, and Span aren't killing the baseball and Souza is batting almost .400 in triple a...is there something wrong with this picture..GIVE HIM A CHANCE!! Send Harper down and give the kid a chance!

GAME OVER. WE LOSE.

At least Cope's pic was used for the fan photo... (but not this one.)

Someone's rant that MASN has BADLY mismanaged its Fan Photo segment:

Gee Spidernet - growing up in the DC area we didn't have BASEBALL - so I didn't follow it, Sorry but I am a fan and I can't stand this bi-polar team. I have been to many games at RFK, and Nats park, but man this team just sucks you in and you get the feeling they will grab the east and run away - then they throw in 3-4 games like the last ones....

In my life (almost 50 years) the most exciting sports events I remember are the Redskins Super Bowl wins, the Bullets winning the Championship in 77 , the Terps winning the NCAA BasketBall tournament and game Werths walk off Home run in 2012 to win the game and extend the series.  What the heck do you want from Local DC sports fans not old enough to remember the Senators?

I'm in the same boat as you except that I followed baseball even when we didn't have a team. I guess it depends on the family you grew up in. It's a choice and I'm not knocking the choice. But it's clear that you haven't been following baseball closely for long or you would be used to the ebb and flow of a baseball season.

Cramp of the bicep. ZNN says he feel OK about it. Was getting tagged so hopefully he just doesn't want to go to the All Star game and he opened the door for Rendon to go.

I repeat: not until Souza is hitting at least .400. Hitting .360 isn't close enough.

The only time I watched baseball was when Cal Ripken was towards the end of his streak, I never could get into following a game that I didn't have a home team in, and my Dad was a huge Football and BasketBall fan(college and pro). So no since the Nats came here - I have mostly seen bad baseball, but man this sport is bi-polar.
