Rendon with two embarrassing ABs tonight.

This team has packed it in.

We can't possibly think about starting Espi at 2B next year can we? Assuming Zim moves to 1B, Rendon becomes 3B fulltime, we have GOT to get a major league caliber 2B. I know Espi is a great fielder but I am sick of his 3-4 Ks per game. Every out is precious.
Wouldn't be surprised if they sign LaRoche to a 1 year deal if they can't figure anyone else out for 2B.

2nd   D Brown doubled to deep right center, M Byrd and C Asche scored.

Washington Nationals  0
Philadelphia Phillies   2

That would mean relying on Zimmerman at 3B or Espinosa at 2B.  :spaz:

This team knows the Braves lost today and THIS is the effort they give.

Yep.  Season over.  Good hitters never have bad at bats.    ;)

Grady Sizemore got a hit.  This is the worst.

Ryan to LF, Harper to CF. No reason to pick up Span's $9 Million option for 2015.

But that means Rendon at 3B and Espinosa at 2B.

They're content just keeping pace with the Braves. No desire to put any distance.

Jordan Zimmermann with a PATHETIC outing tonight. No plan, no conviction with his pitches.

Having similar thoughts as SF should give you pause.

I like Roachy but I'd prefer letting him walk due to his age and moving Zimm to 1B to extend his career/remove the defensive liability. Rendon becomes fulltime 3B. I'm fine with keeping Span at CF. Go out and get a 2B.

This all started with Harper's weak ground ball. If he drives in that run who knows what happens after.

Did this team really catch the bus to Philadelphia after last night's game?  They look like a team that got to their hotel at 2:00 in the morning.
