Look, if you're going to go SSS, you have to go all in

WHEN the Nats SWEEP  their series in Atlanta, they WILL be out of contention by the end of their homestand.

aren't they out of contention already?  3.5 back with our pitching staff on fire?

It's the epitome of Shinertown.  It's been bleached and licked clean by slateman.

I'm new here, but I was waiting to be verified when we lost to the Phillies twice and everyone was ready to commit ritualistic suicide.  Then we beat the Phillies twice and it's time to lock it down.  Is this just how it is here?

I'll update with the tragic number after the Braves overtake them.

Yep.  There are three distinct factions here:  The SSS (SunShine Squad), the LoD (Legion of Doom) and the GoINFU (Guild of Independent Nats Fans United).  The forum rules are that you have to declare your allgiance to one and attack the non-believers with all the fervor you can muster.  Oh, and you can never change your mind - once committed, you must stick with your faction even if it's sinking like the titanic.

Easy.  GoINFU.  You can't be positive all the time, and you can't be doom and gloom all the time either.  I will react to the situation at hand, and enjoy the ride.

Extra bonus:  We (GoINFU) have moonshine and fried chicken.

I'll tell you something, this upcoming series against the Braves is huge.  A sweep for or against would really make me question my allegiance.

There may be some mercenaries here, but we know you lick the balls of BiL and his band of happy shiners.

Doesn't mean I don't give reacharounds to the LoD members.

I have yet to see these so called GoINFU. Personally, I think they're just people who swap between SSS or LoD, depending on how the game is going.
