This guys sucks. Only on base twice.  Didn't throw anyone out at home. Can't even slide back to first. This guys sucks.

I like that message. His time will come.

Let's be realistic. Zimmerman is hurt, Rizzo is unlikely to trade for someone that can help, and LaRoche, Werth and Ramos could break down at any moment. There will be a lot of pressure on Harper to perform. Here's hoping he can rise to it and carry the team if necessary. We've all seen that he's capable of it

Sounds like something somebody in the 70's would have taped to the wall   ...    just below the tiger black light poster.

Part of me feels like if he could trick himself into believing he's destined to be a role player he would become great.

Lebron said that?

Lebron said something similar.   "Yesterday I took my talents to South Beach, but tomorrow we win or lose in Cleveland".  Something like that.

Lyndon B. Johnson said that on August 10, 1964.

Bryce's baserunning gaffes merit a benching.  2 games minimum.  He has no feel for the game.

He needs 100 baserunning appearances to get back on track. He's still probably got a good 70 or so to go.

Yep, benching will do nothing. The situation calls for remediation in the minor leagues or a hell of a lot of baserunning practice.

He has no feel for the game.

And aside from the two obvious baserunning freakups, what didn't even get a mention was his bunt down the first baseline that could very well have come back fair, and he never left the box.   Stupid godam punk.

I was thinking the same thing. Except the punk part.

Yeah, how would you describe him?   They can't trade him soon enough as far as I'm concerned.  This is a guy who was raised on baseball, who has worshipped the game his whole life, and he has no baseball sense whatever. How does that happen.  Is he just an idiot?
