Let's be realistic. Zimmerman is hurt, Rizzo is unlikely to trade for someone that can help, and LaRoche, Werth and Ramos could break down at any moment. There will be a lot of pressure on Harper to perform. Here's hoping he can rise to it and carry the team if necessary. We've all seen that he's capable of it

Bryce's baserunning gaffes merit a benching. 2 games minimum. He has no feel for the game.

He needs 100 baserunning appearances to get back on track. He's still probably got a good 70 or so to go.

Yep, benching will do nothing. The situation calls for remediation in the minor leagues or a hell of a lot of baserunning practice.

And aside from the two obvious baserunning freakups, what didn't even get a mention was his bunt down the first baseline that could very well have come back fair, and he never left the box. Stupid godam punk.

Yeah, how would you describe him? They can't trade him soon enough as far as I'm concerned. This is a guy who was raised on baseball, who has worshipped the game his whole life, and he has no baseball sense whatever. How does that happen. Is he just an idiot?
