Kurt Suzuki off the market. Going to Minnesota.
The Twins and free agent catcher Kurt Suzuki are in agreement on a one-year deal, according to Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle. The deal is pending a physical, which is scheduled to take place later today, she adds (Twitter links). Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports reports that Suzuki will have a $2.75MM base salary, and his contract contains incentives as well (Twitter link). Suzuki is represented by the MVP Sports Group.

Is Wil Nieves available?
How about Balfour? Just to make the O's look bad.
I was thinking about that but figured he wouldn't want to sign where he'd' be nowhere near closing.
Davis is valued on last season. There's no way two questionable relievers a crappy first baseman get you a 1.000+ OPS hitter in his prime.
This is also under the assumption that he can even come close to matching last season's performance.
At this point, who says he can't? Even if he doesn't, he's a .850+ OPS first baseman
Oh I'm not saying he can't, I'm just suggesting that maybe more than one good season should determine the kind of haul Davis may or may not bring to the O's.
Soriano + Storen + laroche + prospect for Chris Davis -> go and sign Balfour..We put all the chips on deck and tell the braves to eat it. The orioles get a prospect and storen to help them with the future and 2 vets to help them win "now."Or am I delusional
