It's been interesting seeing all the homeless Cano talk flying around out there currently. I think he will take until January to sign at least but what is interesting s the lack of suitors.
Given the price he wants, I guess it is to be expected. Also I don't know if I'm buying the Dodgers not willng to spend but with 163 million on the books and Kershaw not extended could squash their means.
The other big pocket teams are locked up (Angels, Phillies, Red Sox) and I don't expect teams like the Jays to go very long on a deal. It really would be Detroit, Texas, the Yankees and the Nats. Maybe the Cubs pull a Jayson Werth deal but after the Crawford contract I'm not sure Theo goes there.
I don't want to work myself up like I did with Fielder, but damn it would be nice to have Cano's bat hitting 3rd in the lineup.
