Speaking of great album covers, I'd like to have a poster of this when I'm dealing with upper management sometimes:

George and Ira would take exception...
So would Rodgers and Hammerstein

Let them take exception.  Neither of those pairs is even close.

Concerto in F for piano and orchestra trumps the entire white album...

I'm a "Rhapsody in Blue" man.     However, the WHOLE White Album?

Classical junkie and Gershwin addict, but whoa there, I'm not THAT extreme.

The B side of Abbey Road beats the concerto for sure!

Abbey Road is the best Beatles' album (IMO).    Made sure the road was one of my stops in '85 in London.

Well in addition to the Beatles I am a Mozart junkie, and if you mean his piano concerto #19 (which I think is the only one in F) then I have to concede, it's close.  Not quite the 'b side of Abbey Road" but close.

.... on the other hand if you're talking Gershwin -- not a fan, because I associate him too closely with United Airlines, which I hate.

   However, the WHOLE White Album?

I have to admit that when I listen to the White Album I stop midway through the second disk.  I cannot stand to listen to Revolution #9.

Yeah, woulda been pushing it with two 50's covers on the record.

They pushed it as soon as they chose to make it a double.

If Elton John & Bernie Taupin are ranked over Mick & Keith, that list is a bit suspect.

Absolutely.

What he was driving.

Other than the 5 days of hard labor at FCJ, did he get his license popped too?

One month driving suspension.

Not so bad...though I thought 5 days for 105 in a 55 was stupid harsh.  He should have gotten 6 months suspended license, a hefty fine & community service.

I'd hate to be sending Flo anything near the size of his premium checks after this one.
