rapidly losing faith in Detwiler. Has been total crap for a month now.

Reverse psychology?

of course. Would have been better off pitching around Greinke to face Dee Gordon. :?

not really. it's the truth.

I mean come the freak on. He used to have these issues when he first started years ago. He would always get 2 outs then give up runs. Like clockwork.

54 hits in 44.2 IP is not good. And only 23 Ks. Terrible peripherals all around.

Detwiler is the worst pitcher in the rotation.

Disappointing but Det's earned more goodwill from me than any other pitcher not named Zimmermann. If we could get some runs that'd be nice.

Unfortunately we have Shark, Detwiler and Span up, so we might have to wait another inning for run support.

The Nats would have to match their biggest comeback all season to win tonight. They're down 2-0.

:lmao: sad and pathetic.

And yes this game is already over. Ross put us in an early hole that we do not know how to get out of. You can't give up these early runs vs such a bad offensive team like the Dodgers.

Commissioner Gordon believes in Harvey Dent, I believe in Ross Det.
1st   A Gonzalez singled to center, M Kemp scored.
2nd   Z Greinke THE PITCHER singled to right, A Ethier scored.

Washington Nationals   0
Los Angeles Dodgers     2

Ross Detwiler aka Boss Rottweiller

Pitchers                IP     H   R   ER   BB   SO   HR   Pitches-Strikes
Boss Rottweiller  2.0    4    2      2      1       0      0            30-18

Yup. He has been the worst on the staff for a good month or so now. More hits than IP in 4 straight starts and this will be the 5th one.

You can't think like that FP. You have to freaking pitch. We must lead the league in giving up pitcher RBIs.

He's had horrible peripherals his whole career and is still a damn good major league pitcher.

Why is Span swinging so early in counts?
