Fire Shanahan tomorrow. No need to wait until next Monday. He's the biggest joke.

Where was Kyle?  During the last Cowboys drive, FOX showed Griffin and Cousins sitting on the bench together but Kyle wasn't sitting with them.  Shouldn't that have been the time he was getting with Kurt when (not if) the Cowboys scored.  What could possibly have been more important than being with your quarterback at that particular moment?

Perhaps that might be the reason that last drive by the offense looked like a dumpster fire.

We don't do the little things right, and we are simply incapable of making one big play to win the game.

Po is overrated, remembered...not saying he'd have any sacks but I suspect Romo has to hurry a little more.

  Based on what? You sound like a fanboi. Orakpo played into the 4th quarter and didn't create any pressure on Romo. The problem on that 4th down call is entirely on Haslett. I don't understand how these guys can watch tape and not see that it's not wise to drop back in coverage against Romo. They should've blitzed him and forced him into rushing his read and throw.

Got a few yards out of it and kept the clock moving. Not a bad call right there.

Agreed. The problem seemed to be that Cousins was not patient enough. Had he hesitated a split second longer that play goes for more yardage. But overall Jr has been exposed as a bad playcaller who struggles to make in game adjustments.

Wonder how many blatant holds Dallas will get away with??

They were holding Coefield and Kerrigan all game long and got away with it. But the NFL needs the drama of an elimination game involving dallas next week.

It doesn't really matter if they know it or not. If it's blocked and executed correctly it'll work.

If that were really true there would be no need for audibles.

Also I hope Fletcher gets a nice sendoff tomorrow. He's definitely slowed down and it would be a good time for him to retire, but he's been a great Redskin all things considered. A brightspot for a team that hasn't had many. Here's to hoping he plays a fantastic game tomorrow. Coming back to coach the LBs after a break would be nice too.

:hysterical:  It must be a Washington sports fans tradition.

I saw that as a good call and Riley blew it.   He hesitated/froze.    He was lost in space.

Except, Romo had all day to throw. Haslett had great success when we blitzed. At one point we had Rak, Kerrigan, Riley, and Jackson on the field. We should have blitzed, hard.

That's true but they had succeeded blitzing and forcing Romo to throw quickly. When they stopped blitzing Romo had all day to wait for the coverage to break down. There was a play in which Romo had about 8 seconds to find someone open. It's just not a good idea to drop back in coverage against Romo.

Yeah I saw instances when they lined up Orakpo and Kerrigan on the same side and brought pressure from the other side.

Also, why did they spot the ball at the 10 yard line when Riley tackled him at the 12?

I don't think it was Haslett's problem.    All he can do is put them in a position to make a play.   Riley was in position.    Tomato  ...  Tomawto

I'm done with this freaking team after today. I'm done. I'm sick of the losers.

If they don't knock it out of the park with a great head coach and great staff freak this team and freak that franchise. I'll be a Rams fan where no one cares even to make fun and I can sit in the lower deck on the cheap.

freak the Redskins.

See you next week.

If you've been following this team for any significant amount of time you just knew that when they were up 9 that they would end up losing by 1 point.

I assumed we'd lose by more than that. We suck. I was busting your chops with the Orakpo comment  but honestly, he's more effective than Jackson and like I said before, Kerrigan and Po feed off of each other. Smith is a pretty damn good LT though. Wonder who Po will be playing for next year...

I missed the game sitting with my daughter at the doctors office (croup just makes them sound so sad), but caught the post game radio.I really think this roster might be a bigger disaster than under vinny. Now. that kerrigan seems to be regressing and po seems gone, the entire defense is somewhere between average and arena league- not one stand out in the group

There's no question about that.

Smith is a pretty damn good LT though.

But elite players step up and produce when they face big time competition. Good players take advantage of the likes of Will Beatty, Khalif Barnes and the rookie that started for the falcons. It's another to go up against quality players and getting it done.

Only took him three seasons to get to where he is now. Another season he can't get through healthy and productive. Definitely need to franchise him

I'm pretty sure you've beat the "crappy roster" drum since about week 1. It's been noted, move along. I'm sure we'll hear a out it again next Sunday though.

I doubt it. Rex Ryan may be the next coach here so I wouldn't count it. I don't think they have the right personnel for either system. How the freak is that possible?  :smh:
