It's an interesting story about how that all went down.   WWII, draft deferments, merging the teams, the Rooney/Bell dynamic, etc.

I believe '43.    They had talks of merging before that though.   Bell and Rooney had shenanigans going on.    Ole man Rooney wasn't above conniving.

Dallas being manhandled in Chicago tonight. Yet that same defense will own the Redskins in two weeks.

It's kin d of like the FA Cup.  Huddleston can look terrific against championship clubs, but gets exposed when it has to face premier league teams.

Shields almost got him on the deep pass he attempted on 1st down but Dallas was not satisfied to count their blessing after that ball was not picked off and continued to flirt with risk.

The eagles hurt their cause greatly by losing to Minnesota. And the vikings didn't have Peterson or Gerhart today. They could be up two games with two to go.

I thought the same thing. The only thing I can think of is that the play looked so unusual that the refs fell asleep on it.

The Patriots have not hurt their chances because they have no chance this year, losing Wilfork and Mayo was bad but losing Gronk is too much to overcome :(
