Minnesota Vikings cut CB AJ Jefferson hours after being arrested but the other Jerome Simpson and Erin Henderson have also been arrested this month and are being allowed to play (Henderson will not start which probably means he'll miss the first play). The difference being that Jefferson was not producing.  :smh:

Or Erin Henderson and Jerome Simpson were arrested for DWI and Jefferson was arrested for felony domestic assault. I mean, strangling your girl friend isn't reason to be cut from the team... :smh:

Dude, you're smarter than that.

Potentially, yes but strangling someone? Driving drunk is irresponsible and awful, strangling someone shows intent to seriously hurt or kill someone. Not to mention the intimate nature of strangling someone.

DWI leads to more than a few people being hurt and killed,  the fact that it isn't treated that way just allows it to persist

whatever dude... I swear you just like arguing about crap for the sake of arguing. DWI vs felony domestic assault and I imagine the possibly attempted murder.

According to the criminal complaint, Jefferson and his girlfriend returned from a night out Sunday after the Vikings returned from Green Bay following their 26-26 tie.

The couple began arguing in their home, police said. Jefferson left, and she went to bed. She awoke to Jefferson yelling at her for ignoring his text messages to her, and he grabbed her around her throat, according to the complaint.

Freeman accuses Jefferson of picking up his girlfriend by the neck and moving her off the bed onto the floor.

"She said she did not fight back because she was having a hard time breathing and he is a lot bigger than her," according to the complaint.

Actually one of my best friends in high school lost his mother to a drunk (by the way,  DWI is a felony in certain states).  If you really think it has to do with the crime not the skill of the player,  just remember when ray Lewis was charged with murder

Dude, I didn't say that it doesn't happen, the Ray Lewis case is a good example as is Kevin Carter. That being said, these are different scenarios. Two guys got arrested for dwi and another for strangling his girl friend. From strictly a PR stand point, which is worse? We all know morality takes a back seat in the business world, PR on the other hand, not so much.

And not Spidey, it has nothing to do with Erin Henderson being a former Terp :lmao:

Domed football stadiums are an abomination, especially in cold places like Michigan.

In the case of Jerome Simpson, yeah, he should probably be suspended at the minimum if not released. Having 2lbs or so of Mary J delivered to your house and being on 3 years probation as well as the DWI charge? He was charged with 2 counts of DWI too. How does that happen?

Erin Henderson at least sounded contrite, whether it is an act or not is up for debate I reckon.

When Vick was coming back, the outrage and the calling for his lifetime banishment, I thought was ridiculous. The case I made was the fact that Kevin Carter killed someone driving drunk, not his first DWI fyi, and he didn't get banned, but killing dogs gets you public enemy #1 status? Hell, was there that much outrage over Rae Carruth?

People love dogs,  and there is no outrage over Carruth because he'll never see the outside of a prison yet alone play football

He's due to be released in 2018.

Hey, it's true. He owned up to his asshattery. Jerome Simpson, not so much. Still doesn't mean all three shouldn't be punished. Of course you'll use anything to try and show that I'm not objective.

That should warrant a suspension.
