Some would say Vick refused to use him after his comments. Others would say Vick just isn't a good enough QB to know how to use his weapons. Some would say Foles is better at seeing things downfield. Others would say Foles and Cooper have better chemistry, after all, Foles did say he was proud of Cooper for doing well after "all that he has been through". Who knew poor Cooper is a martyr in all this.

I read that if you ask Peter "the great defender of the disenfranchised" King, privately, his opinion on Vick you will learn that for him forgiveness depends on the person who committed the offense.

Exactly. There is a big difference between what Vick did and what Cooper said.

That said, Vick did his time and seems to have remorse for what he did. Quotes from Vick today saying how proud he is of Cooper. I forgive them both.

Holy crap ! I'm seeing the Steelers givin' up 27 points in a quarter and thinking, "this is almost like the 50's and 60's Steelers." How long has it been since they gave up 27 points in a quarter !?!?! Knock me down ... TWO WEEKS !!!!! November 3 against the Pats. This defense sucks.

For those who have been watching the NFL for decades, is it just me or are more and more players leaving the field of play "nicked up" after getting tackled than in the past? It just seems to me that far too often a RB, but more often, a WR gets tackled and he calls for a replacement only to come back in the game a play or two later.

Detroit really blew their wad today. Just when people were expecting them to make a move due to their place in the standings and injuries to the packers and bears they lay an egg in Pittsburgh and let those teams back in the mix.

Yeah. I think there's more awareness of long team earnings. In the old days, players weren't making several hundred thousand dollars as rookies. IE ... I'm comin' out. They've been divas since middle school.
