The Bears hadn't beaten the Packers in Green Bay since 2007.
Hence the reason I took the Packers in my survivor pool :(
Glad it was a good game for you, Lambeau is totally on my list of places to get to someday.

The Bears hadn't beaten the Packers in Green Bay since 2007.  Glad I was there to see this one on Monday night...especially since I was there for the loss last year.

Packer fans are really great people...we had a blast...

I've been once in my life and it was amazing.  Granted I am a Packers fan but the fans were so hospitable towards me and even the Tennessee Oiler fans, yes that was their name the year I got to go.  I always wondered how they were to lions, bears and vikings fans.  Glad you enjoyed it.

so the Miami thing just got a lot worse

Quote
Sources say that communication took place when Martin skipped two days of the team's OTA program, and Incognito was encouraged by his coaches to make a call that would "get him into the fold," one source said.

Even though OTA workouts are voluntary, the NFL culture forces coaches to strong arm the team's leaders to make sure everyone attends. Sources say Incognito was doing his job, but they admit he crossed the line.

The NFLPA has to be loving the new information.

...the fans were so hospitable...

Maybe the best ticket in all of sports...certainly in the discussion as far as I'm concerned...

Broncos reserve guard John Moffit retires at age 27 and walks away from a million dollar contract.  He says he wasn't having fun and he's grown increasingly concerned about brain injuries.

Lots of really bad news this week - Tony Dorsett and Leonard Marshall are reportedly showing signs of CTE, Dorsett says he's having memory issues, some depression and has had suicidal thoughts.

I think she's saying he would have pulled a trigger. :)

I don't know about that. Just because a guy can pull a trigger doesn't mean he can fight. I imagine Incognito would have stomped a mudhole in Hernandez. Then again, if Incognito is just a bully, maybe not. All things being equal, my money is on Richie beating Hernandez' ass.

Expect to see CFL highlights tonight on ESPN.

If the wild card round of the playoffs today and Duron Carter, Cris' son, just made an amazing catch for a TD for Montreal (quarterbacked by Heisman trophy winner, Troy Smith).  Duron is a wide receiver like his father was.

I don't understand how some guys remain employed as play callers in the NFL.  :smh:

Let me include Marvin Lewis in that group.

I agree.

The 3rd and 4th down playcalls in overtime by Gruden were absolutely amateurish.

I agree Cinci should not have kicked the field goal with the first possession of the overtime and the distance, but the obvious call there is to pooch punt, trap Flaccid deep, and get the ball back in field goal range with a chance to win.  Just dumb.

The bigger problems were calling a run play on 3rd down and then compounding it by throwing a 4th down pass behind the line of scrimmage. If you don't trust your QB to throw the ball a few yards downfield you should punt the ball or get another QB.

GB is toast. There's no way they survive without Rodgers and their defense is average at best. And Rodgers got hurt just in time to play the rest of the NFC east.  :?  The Redskins had their chance but couldn't even beat a bad Minnesota team. When fortune smiles on you and you return the smile with a dirty look, fortune will turn around and crap on you.

Agree about GB.  I hate it but knowing what my friends and frenemies have gone through as lions fans I can't feel too sorry for myself and/or them.

I wouldn't mind them bringing in Tebow to kick his tires.

NFL Network allows Michael Irving to get away with so much crap. He has been doing the postgame show high as hell for years. Tonight he's really bad. He's laughing uncontrollably for no apparent reason and just called himself "such a stupid black man".  :hysterical:

You can add Jacksonville, Minnesota and Washington to that list.
