Davey making terrible managerial mistakes all over the place. He's not equipped to make the decisions in the pressure like this. His golden years were 30 years ago.

Our last four series are all against teams desperately needing wins to stay alive for playoff spots.  We shut down Strasburg, Gio looks like a rookie, Zimmermann stretching further than he ever has and an over-used bullpen.

Yikes.

If Davey brings up letting him start the 6th so he had a chance to win his 20th game I am going to go insane. What a stupid move. Over 100 pitches, crappy conditions, middle of the order due up. Come on Davey, get a freaking grip.

I hope blowing that 9-0 lead weeks ago doesn't bite us in the dupie.

Davey's in-game management skills leave so much to be desired.

freak it.  With this rain, just call it, accept the sweep and get back home a couple hours early.

I understand completely if he did that, and fortunately the leash was short.  In hindsight, it was a bad idea but I don't blame him for sending Gio out start the inning.

I wouldn't go that far, I think he knows exactly what he's doing.  And it's pushing all the wrong buttons.  I still can't believe Bernadina and Lombo over Moore in left the other two games.

Lol, Gangnam Style in the stands.

Francona:  "They had Henry Rodriguez in that role, but he had a bout with wildness..."

:lmao:  That's freaking understatement.
