What a disaster of a series. They finally start to show some life and Espy hits a routine double play right to shortstop.

So much for any chance of a comeback. That's it.

We are playing like all the pressure is on us.

I feel a colossal collapse coming on....

This "everybody swing at the first pitch" is the worst strategy I've ever seen.

Espinosa is so damn streaky. A month ago he was unstoppable against LHP and how he's total crap against everybody. This is depressing as crap.

Especially against a guy like Minor. You gotta make him throw pitches, that is how teams beat him. He isn't Tim Hudson or someone that pounds the strike zone constantly so swinging first pitch at everything makes zero sense.

Yep.  All of our first pitch swings have resulted in outs.

We're gonna need another three innings at four pitches each.

thank god. bottom of order due up though. Espy really hurt us. Would have liked Moore to get a chance with 2 on even if there were two outs.

Score off of Minor soon. Their unhittable bullpen is lurking though I heard that Kimbrel may be taking the night off.

I don't know what's more depressing - the Redskins loss, the Nats about to get swept, or the fact that I have Matt Stafford in my (only) two fantasy leagues.

T-Mo should've hit a bomb there.  This is terrible.

All of our hitters need to be taking balls like T-Mo and Kurt are.

The whole team should have been approaching it like this all game. Minor isn't a pinpoint strike thrower. You gotta work him and make him make mistakes.
